Drawing on the Japanese ofuro tradition, this freestanding oval bath is designed for deep, upright soaking rather than reclining. Created for a single bather seeking profound stillness, its compact footprint (available in 100cm or 120cm) makes this experience possible even in smaller bathrooms.
At the heart of the design is a thoughtfully integrated internal seat, allowing the body to be submerged up to the shoulders while maintaining a supported, upright posture. Cast in Riluxa’s Mineral Stone®, the surface is seamless, durable and easy to maintain, with a matching drain for a clean, uninterrupted finish.
For taller baths like the Ofuro, our optional Raku Bathroom Step offers graceful entry and exit.
